Kitchen VR is a virtual environment that enable users to engage with Arçelik’s products, replicating the in-store experience from the comfort of their own space.
By utilizing virtual reality technology, we envisioned a platform that allows users to interact with Arçelik’s appliances, providing a realistic sense of their features and functionalities as if they were physically present in a store. From Arçelik's perspective, this project serves as a tool to test how users engage with kitchen environments.
Our team also developed practical solutions to address the challenges faced by Arçelik’s engineering teams. We created a range of tools and systems that enabled their engineers to collaborate effectively in virtual environments.
As part of a team with diverse backgrounds, my primary responsibility was VR development. I used Unity and SteamVR for this project, which was tested on an HTC Vive VR headset.
